Modi College celebrated proud appointment of new Chief Secretary of Punjab Sh. Anirudh Tiwari
The Management Committee of Multani mal Modi College and Principal of Modi College Dr. Khushvinder Kumar congratulated the new Punjab Chief Secretary Sh. Anirudh Tiwari, IAS. He is alumnus of Modi College. He is IAS Officer of 1990 batch. He remained the student of Modi College from 1981-1983 and completed his pre-university education with gold Medal. He completed his Pre-engineering with Merit from Multani Mal Modi College, Patiala.
College Principal Dr. Khushvinder Kumar congratulated Sh. Tiwari and said that it is proud moment for the College. He said that many of our old students are appointed on the high end political and administrative positions and this appointment will inspire our students also.
Remembering his ex-student Prof. Surindra Lal, Member, Management Committee of the College said that he was a rare blend of intellect and humility. He was excellent in studies and in other activities. He expected that his vision will bring peace and prosperity in Punjab.

ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਨਵੇਂ ਚੀਫ਼ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਨਿਰੁੱਧ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ (ਕਾਲਜ ਦੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਹਨ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ)
ਸਥਾਨਕ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਪਟਿਆਲਾ ਦੀ ਮੈਨੇਜਮੈਂਟ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਵੱਲੋਂ ਨਵ-ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਚੀਫ਼ ਸੈਕਟਰੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਅਨਿਰੁੱਧ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ, ਆਈ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਨੂੰ ਤਹਿ ਦਿਲੋਂ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੱਤੀ ਗਈ, ਉਹ 1990 ਬੈੱਚ ਦੇ ਆਈ.ਏ.ਐਸ. ਅਫ਼ਸਰ ਹਨ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ 1981 ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਵਿੱਚ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹਿਕੇ ਅਤੇ 1981-1983 ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਮੈਰਿਟ ਨਾਲ ਮੁਲਤਾਨੀ ਮੱਲ ਮੋਦੀ ਕਾਲਜ ਤੋਂ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ।
ਕਾਲਜ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਸੀਪਲ ਡਾ. ਖੁਸ਼ਵਿੰਦਰ ਕੁਮਾਰ ਜੀ ਨੇ ਇਸ ਮੌਕੇ ਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਵਧਾਈ ਦਿੰਦਿਆਂ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਇਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਕਾਲਜ ਲਈ ਮਾਣ ਵਾਲੀ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਦੱਸਿਆ ਕਿ ਸਾਡੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਪੁਰਾਣੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਮਹੱਤਵਪੂਰਨ ਸਰਕਾਰ ਅਹੁਦਿਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਪ੍ਰਸ਼ਾਸਕੀ ਪਦਵੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਨਿਯੁਕਤ ਹੋ ਚੁੱਕੇ ਹਨ ਅਤੇ ਇਸ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਨਾਲ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਵਿੱਖ ਵਿੱਚ ਹੋਰ ਸਖ਼ਤ ਮਿਹਨਤ ਕਰਨ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰੇਰਨਾ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।
ਆਪਣੇ ਸਾਬਕਾ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਨੂੰ ਯਾਦ ਕਰਦਿਆਂ ਪ੍ਰੋ. ਸੁਰਿੰਦਰ ਲਾਲ, ਕਾਲਜ ਦੀ ਪ੍ਰਬੰਧਕੀ ਕਮੇਟੀ ਦੇ ਮੈਂਬਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ ਕਿ ਸ਼੍ਰੀ ਤਿਵਾੜੀ ਵਿਦਵਤਾ ਅਤੇ ਹਲੀਮੀ ਦੀ ਉੱਮਦਾ ਮਿਸਾਲ ਹਨ। ਉਹ ਕਾਲਜ ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਯੂਨੀਵਰਸਿਟੀ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਦੌਰਾਨ ਪਹਿਲੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਹੇ ਅਤੇ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਪ੍ਰੀ-ਇੰਜਨੀਅਰਿੰਗ ਦੀ ਪੜ੍ਹਾਈ ਵੀ ਸ਼ਾਨਦਾਰ ਪ੍ਰਾਪਤੀਆਂ ਨਾਲ ਪੂਰੀ ਕੀਤੀ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਸੰਭਾਵਨਾ ਦਰਸਾਈ ਕਿ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਨਿਯੁਕਤੀ ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਕਾਸ ਲਈ ਮੀਲ-ਪੱਥਰ ਸਾਬਿਤ ਹੋਵੇਗੀ।
